Mindanao River Basin
The government is now focusing its attention on the recent floods being experienced by almost all the low lying areas of Region XII. As for the moment, the Mindanao River Basin Technical Working Group (MRB-TWG) is now studying thoroughly the river tributaries within Region XII. The DENR-MGB XII chief geologist, Mr. Jaime G. Flores, has been very busy attending, monitoring and assessing the effects of heavy rains. Mindanao River Basin (MRB) members are the following: DPWH as the lead agency, DENR-MGB XII, NIA XII and others serve as partner agencies.
